Scriptures on Prayer

Prayer is essential in every Christian’s life because prayer pulls down the power of God that blesses all of us. Always remember that prayer is not a mere a petition to God, but it’s pouring out your whole soul to God when you call upon his name. Prayer is the key that unlocks all the storehouses of God’s grace, because Christians open them, on their knees in prayer. There is no such thing that we spend too much time in prayer. Prayer can overcome our bad habits and prayer can root out all the evil thoughts that we have. True prayer is the reflection of God’s thoughts and praying always in the Spirit. We should form the habit of prayer immediately when we get up in the morning. We should pray whenever in doubt, in temptation, or when trials arise in our life, whether it is day or night. The apostle Paul tells us to pray without ceasing in the book of (1 Thessalonians 5:17). Below you will find many scriptures on prayer.
