Questions about the Book of Titus

The book of Titus is the seventeenth book of the New Testament. This epistle to Titus, addressed by Paul to one of his most reliable helpers, deals chiefly with conditions in the churches in the Epistles and he was used by Paul for tasks requiring responsibility and discretion. Titus was in charge of the collection for the poor in Jerusalem; and he was placed over the churches in Crete because the inhabitants there were proverbially of low character. This Epistle can be divided into three parts: 1) The qualifications and duties of Elders. 2) The pastoral work of a true minister. 3) Exhortations to Godly living. The author of this book is Paul.
