Jonah is the thirtieth-second book of the Old Testament. Jonah was a prophet of Israel who lived about the time of Jeroboam II. His name means dove, and he occupies a unique place as the first foreign missionary. The book of Jonah can be divided into four parts: 1) The disobedience and flight of Jonah, 2) Jonah and the great fish, 3) The greatest revival in history, 4) The wideness of God’s mercy.
