Micah is the thirtieth-third book of the Old Testament. Micah was a prophet whose name means (Who is like the Lord? and he came from the small town of Moresheth, about twenty miles southwest of Jerusalem. Micah lived in the time of Isaiah and like Isaiah he preached against the sins of his time. This book can be divided into three parts: 1) The condemnation and captivity, 2) reproof, and restoration in the Kingdom, 3) Pleading, and assurance of mercy. The author of this book is Micah.
