Ruth is the eighth book of the bible. The book of Ruth describes an episode in the time of the Judges. It gives a story and lively picture of ancient life, with its manners and their customs. Ruth was a great-grandmother of King David, and she was an earthly ancestry of Jesus Christ. The book of Ruth can be divided into four chapters as follows: 1) Ruth deciding, 2) Ruth serving, 3) Ruth reasting, 4) Ruth rewarded. The author of this book is unknown.
