Excuses That Some People May Have

When God sends his son Jesus Christ back for his bride the church in the last days or when the end of time has come. I asked you, when we all stand before him at the great white throne judgment seat and the books will be opened. I ask you, what will be your excuse be then? Listed below are just a few excuses that people will give, but there will be No Excuses that will be accepted at this time for it will be to late for you forever.

Excuse I: I am too young at this time to be saved.

It is strange how any boy or girl should feel when he or she is too young to trust in the savior, when there is so much in the bible to encourage the children to come to him. I ask the question, who can say, if a young boy or girl reading these verses will not understand them and be saved.

(Matthew 19:14) But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not to come unto me; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

(Ecclesiastes 12:1) Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth.

(Proverbs 8:17) Love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.

(Matthew 18:3) Verily I say unto you, except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

(II Timothy 3:15) And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

(Luke 2:42) And when he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast.

(Matthew 6:33) But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.

(Corinthians 6:2) Behold, now is the accepted time behold, now is the day of salvation.

If you read your bible carefully, you will find there are some people that will not be saved. Many of the parables teach us this. Below is a list of scriptures of whom that will not be saved.

Excuse 11: Some people believe that every one will be saved.

(Matthew 22:13) Then said the king to the servants, bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

(Psalms 9:17) The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.

(Matthew 7:13-14) Enter ye in at the straight gate, for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat; Because straight is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

(I Corinthians 6:9-10) Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived, neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

(Revelation 22:15) For without are dogs, and sorcerers and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

Why can’t people understand God word in the bible? Because the carnal mind cannot understand the divine truth without the spirit teaching them. Below is a list of scriptures for you to read.

Excuse 111: I just can’t understand the Bible.

(John 7:17) If any man will do his will he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.

(I Corinthians 2:14) But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness unto him, neither can he know them because they are spiritually discerned.

(James 1:5) If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not, and it shall be given him.

(Psalms 119:32) Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy laws.

(John 5:39) Search the Scriptures, for in them ye think ye have eternal life, and they are they, which testify of me.

(Isaiah 55:8) For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.

(Isaiah 55:9) For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thought.

If you are a member of a church that alone does not save any one. Jesus has made this plain in the Bible. There must be more than a cold profession of a certain religion to be saved. Jesus said not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father, which is in heaven. Excuse IV: I am a member of the church.

(John 3:3) Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.

(Matthew 7:21-23) Many will say to me in that day, lord, lord, have we not Prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wondrous works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you, depart from me, ye that works iniquity.

(Matthew 7:24-25) Therefore, whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man which built his house upon a rock: “And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house, and it fell not, for it was founded on a rock.”

(Matthew 7:26-27) And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be liken unto a foolish man, who built his house upon the sand: “And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat upon that house, and it fell; and great was the fall.

Some people may think they are good enough to enter in to heaven. God says that you are a sinner and being good alone will not save you. Below is a list of scriptures of whom that you can read.

Excuse V: Am I good enough?

(Romans 3:23) For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.

(Romans 3:10) As it is written there is none righteous know not one.

(Ecclesiastes 7:20) For there is not a just man up on Earth, that doeth good and sinneth not.

(Isaiah 53:6) All we are like sheep have gone astray, we have turned everyone to his own way, and the Lord had laid on him the inequity of us all.

(Luke 18:9-14) Not only would God show you that you are a sinner, but he would warn you of the consequences of sin, and the judgments that follows.

(Romans 6:23) The wages of sin is death.

(Ezekiel 18:4) The soul that sinneth it shall die.

(Numbers 32:23) Be sure your sin will find you out.

If you read your bible carefully, you will find there are some people that will not be saved. Many of the parables teach us this. Some people may think they are good enough to enter into heaven. Excuse VI: I am not good enough to be a Christian.

(Luke 19:10) For the son of man is to come to seek and to save that Which was lost?

(Matthew 9:12-13) But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice for I am not come to call the righteousness, but sinners to repentance.

(Titus 3:5) Not by works of righteousness, which we have done, but accordingly to his mercy he saves us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost.

(Isaiah 1:18) Come now and let us reason together, sayeth the Lord, though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow, though they may be red like crimson, they shall be wool.

(First John 1:9) If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins.

If you read your bible carefully, you will find there are some people that feel they are sinners, and most people have a very good opinion of themselves. When one sees their sins, and cries to God they will have every assurance that there is forgiveness but not without obedience God said that you are a sinner and assures you that you may be saved because Christ came to save sinners, and if you confess and forsake sin you have God’s Word for it that you are forgiven. Excuse VII: I am too great of a sinner.

(First Timothy 1:15) This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came unto the world to save sinners, of whom I am the chief.

(Luke 19:10) For the son of man is to come to seek and to save that Which was lost?

(Proverbs 28:13) He that covered his sins shall not prosper, but who confesseth and forsake them shall have mercy.

(Romans 10:13) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

(Revelations 22:17) And the spirit and the bride sayeth, “Come. And let him that heareth say, come and let him that is athirst come and whosoever will let him take of the water of life freely.”

(John 6:37) Him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

(Hebrews 7:25) Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that comes unto God by him.

As you read the word of God you should not judge or criticize others because God will do the judging himself. At the Great White Throne judgment we will be judged according to our works and whosoever that was not found written in the book of life will be cast into the lake of fire. Excuse VIII: There are church members no better than I am.

(Romans 14:12) So then every one of us shall give an account of himself to God.

(First Corinthians 5:10) For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that everyone may receive the things done in his body, according to that he had done, whether it be good or bad.

(Romans 14:11) For it is written, as I live, sayeth the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

(Mark 16:16) He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved, but he that believeth not shall be damned.

(Ephesians 2:8-9) For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves it is the gift of God, not of works, less any man should boast.

There are great blessings for them that turn from bad associates and their sinful ways. Below is a list of scriptures that you should read.

Excuse IX: My companions keep me from Christ.

(Psalms 1:1) Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stand in the way of the sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

(Proverbs 13:20) He that walketh with the wiseman shall be wise, but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.

(Proverbs 4:14-15) Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men. Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it, and pass away.

(James 4:4) Ye adulators and adulteresses know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God.

(Second Corinthians 6:14) Be you not unequally yoked together with unbelievers, for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath the light with darkness?

(Second Corinthians 6:17) Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, sayeth the Lord.

(Philippians 4:13) I can do all things through Christ, which strengthens me.

(John 8:36) If the son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

(Matthew 28:18) And Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, “All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.”

(Galatians 6:7) Be not deceived, God is not mocked, for whosoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

(Galatians 6:8) For he that soweth to his flesh, shall the flesh reap corruption, but he that soweth to the spirit shall of the spirit reap life everlasting.

(Romans 6:23) For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Is it because of your life style or your business, and your desire to make money, that you are unwilling to accept Christ as your savior? If this is so, then you should listen to God as you read the scriptures. Below is a list of scriptures that you should read.

Excuse X: There is too much to give up.

(Mark 8:36) For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

(Romans 8:32) He that spareth not his own son, but deliver him up for us all, how shall he not be with Him also freely giving us all things.

(Matthew 6:33) But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.

(Luke 18:29) And He said unto them, “Verily I say unto you, there is no man that had left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God’s sake

(Luke 18:30) Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.”

(Romans 6:23) But Christ gives eternal life.

(Galatians 6:8) For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption, but he that soweth to the spirit shall the spirit reap everlasting life.

(Matthew 6:24) Jesus said, “Ye cannot serve two masters, but you will serve one, Christ or the Devil which will it be?”

Some say that the Christian life is too hard, but they are mistaken about this, they may have tried to reform in their own strength, but they know nothing about the power of the spirit and their souls to save, and keeps and delivers them. Below is a list of scriptures that you should read.

Excuse XI: The Christian life is too hard.

(First John 5:3) For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments, and his commandments are not grievous.

(Proverbs 3:17) Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.

(Psalms 16:11) Thou will show me the path of life, in thy presence is fullness of joy, and at the right hand there are pleasures forever more.

(Psalms 84:11) For the Lord God is a sun and a shield, the Lord will give grace and glory, no good thing will be withheld for them that walk uprightly.

(Proverbs 13:15) Good understanding giveth favor, but the way of transgressors is hard.

(Isaiah 57:21) “There is no peace,” saith my God unto the wicked.

(Ecclesiastes 11:9) Rejoice, oh young man, in thy youth, and let thine heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes, but know thou that for all these things God will bring thee unto judgment.

As you read God’s word and you think you have failed him, just ask yourself who is at fault here? If the answer to this question is you, then you must confess your sins to Jesus and seek the Lord with all your heart and you must pray about this. Below is a list of scriptures that you should read.

Excuse XII: I tried and I have failed .

(Jeremiah 21:13) And you shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

(Isaiah 1:19) If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land.

(Acts 5:32) And we are his witnesses of these things, and so is also the Holy Spirit whom God had given to them that obey him.

(Romans 10:13) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

(Romans 10:9) That if thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart that God had raised him from the dead, thou shall be saved.

(Romans 10:10) For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(First Peter 3:12) For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers.

(Isaiah 44:5) One shall say, I am the Lord’s, and another shall subscribe with his hand unto the Lord.

(First Peter 2:2) As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word that ye may grow thereby.

If you read your bible you will find that a certain rich man was not concerned about losing his soul until he died and lifted up his eyes being in torments and in Hell The rich man cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue, for I am tormented in this flame Then he ask the father to send Lazarus to my father house so he could tell his five brothers not to come to this place of torment. We should all be concerned about our love ones, our friends and all the unsaved people of the world. Below is a list of scriptures that you should read.

Excuse XIII: I am not concerned at this time.

(Ephesians 5:14) Wherefore He sayeth, “Awake thou that sleepest and rise from the dead, and Christ shall give ye the light.”

(Luke 13:3) I tell you,” Nay, but except ye repent ye shall all likewise perish.”

(Hebrews 9:27) And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.

(John 5:40) And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.

(Mark 16:16) He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved, but he that believeth not shall be damned.

(Psalms 9:17) The wicked shall be turned into Hell, and all the nations that forget God.

(Hebrews 2:3) How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation.

If you read your bible carefully, you will find that Thomas asked the question, Lord, how can we know the way? Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Below is a list of scriptures that you should read.

Excuse XIV: Those who know not the way.

(John 14:6) Jesus sayeth unto him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life, no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

(Isaiah 55:7) Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts, and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him and to our God for he will abundantly pardon.

(John 6:37) All that the Father giveth me shall come to me, and him that cometh, I will in no wise cast out.

(Acts 10:43) To him gave all the prophets witness, that through His name whosoever shall believeth in Him shall receive remission of sins

Excuse XV: My heart is too hard.

(Ezekiel 36:26) “A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you, and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.”

(Ezekiel 36:27) “I will put my spirit within you and cause you to walk in my statues, and you shall keep my judgments and do them.”

(Jeremiah 23:29) “Is not my word like as a fire?” Sayeth the Lord, “And like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?”

(Isaiah 55:7) Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts, and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him, and to our God for he will abundantly pardon.

Under no circumstances will our Lord cast out a sincerely seeking soul? There is not the slightest doubt that Jesus will forgive us our sins, he will save you, if you will turn to him sincerely. Below is a list of scriptures that you should read.

Excuse XVI: Is it too late for me to be saved?

(John 6:37) All that the father giveth me shall come to me, and him that cometh to me, I will in no wise cast out.

(Second Peter 3:9) The Lord is not slack concerning His promises, as some men count slackness, but as long suffering to us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

(Isaiah 1:18) Come now and let us reason together, sayeth the Lord, though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow, though they may be red like crimson, they shall be wool.

(Isaiah 46:4) And even to your old age I am He, and even to hoar hairs I will carry you, I have made, and I will bear, even I will carry, and will deliver you.

(Matthew 20:6) In about the eleventh hour He went out and found others standing idle, and sayeth to them, “Why stand ye here all the day idle?”

(Revelations 22:17) And the spirit and the bride sayeth, “Come. And let him that heareth say, come and let him that is athirst come and whosoever will let him take of the water of life freely.”

If you read your bible carefully, you will find there are some people that wait to long to be saved. What are you waiting for, to get rich, to better yourself and grow old before you accept the Lord Jesus as your personnel savior. Did you ever think that when someone tells you about salvation that it could be your last opportunity to hear the Gospel and be saved? Below is a list of scriptures that you should read.

Excuse XVII: Don’t talk to me, or I will leave.

(Ezekiel 2:7) And thou shall speak my words unto them, whether they will hear or whether they will forebear, for they are most rebellious.

(Jeremiah 1:17) Thou therefore gird up thine loins, and arise and speak unto them all that I command thee, be not dismayed at their faces, lest I confound thee before them.

(Ezekiel 3:18) When I say unto the wicked, thou shall surely die, and thou givest Him not warning, nor speaketh to warn the wicked from his wicked ways, to save his life, the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity but his blood will I require of thine hand.

(Ezekiel 3:19) Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked ways, he shall die in his iniquity, but thou has delivered thy soul.

(Romans 6:23) For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ out lord.

(Psalms 9:17) The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.

(Proverbs 27:1) Boast not thyself of tomorrow, for thou knowest, not what a day may bring forth.

(Proverbs 29:1) He that bringest often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.

If you read your bible carefully, you will find the word “feeling” occurs but once in the Bible in connection with salvation, and then it is used in connection with the man “who is past feeling”, but faith in Christ is mentioned three hundred times. Conviction is one thing and emotion is another. The latter does not necessarily follow the former. Our feelings are like the weather, they may change daily; but God’s word, which we trust, will never change. If you know that you are a sinner and lost. What you need is Jesus Christ in your life. Just look to him; accept him; trust him; confess him; and he will do the rest. Below is a list of scriptures that you should read.

Excuse XVIII: How is your feeling about your salvation?

(John 1:12) “But as many as received him to them gave he power to become the Sons of God, even them that believe on his name.”

(Acts 5:32) “And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.”

(Galatians 5:22) “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith.”

(ACTS 16:31) “And they said, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shall be saved, and thy hours.”

(John 20:31) “But these are written that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing ye might have life through his name.”

If you read your bible carefully, you may wait to long to be saved; Paul said that now is the day of salvation. This could be your last opportunity to accept Jesus as your personal Savior. So, what are you waiting for my friends? Are you just trying to better yourself by working to many hours; if so, sometimes this just may hinder you and time is running out. How do I know this because God says that his Spirit shall not always strive with man, Just look to him; accept him; trust him; confess him; and he will do the rest. Excuse XVIIII: Some people say not now, I am just too busy.

(Matthew 24:44) “Therefore be ye also ready; for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of Man cometh.”

(Matthew 25:13) “Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.”

(Amos 4:12) “Prepare to meet thy God.”

(Isaiah 55:6) “Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near.”

(Luke 14:17) “Come; for all things are now ready,”

(Hebrews 3:15) “Today if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.”

(II Corinthians 6:2) “Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.”

(James 4:13) “Go to now, ye that say, today or tomorrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell.”

(Proverbs 27:1) “Boast not thyself of tomorrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.”

(Luke 12:19) “I will say to my soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.

(Luke 12:20) But God said unto him, thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee; then whose shall those be, which thou hast provided?

If you listen to what God says in his Word you will find it is always the truth. Jesus said; I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me, God is never changing he is the same yesterday, today, and forever. If you would just see your way clear to just give heart to Jesus. I promise, it will be the most important thing in your life and you will never be sorry that you did. How do I know this because God says so in his word? Just look to him; accept him; trust him; confess him; and he will do the rest. Excuse XX: I just cannot see my way clear at this time.

(John 8:12) “Then spoke Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world; he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”

(Proverbs 3:5-7) “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes; fear the Lord and depart from evil.”

(John 8:36) “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.”

(Isaiah 42:16) “And I will bring the blind by a way that they know not. I will lead them in paths that they have not known; I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.”

(John 3:19) “And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.”
