Holy Spirit

When you open your bible never forget that it is God’s Holy Word and his promise to you is that he will pray to the Father and he will give us Comforter, which is the Holy Spirit. The work of the Holy Spirit among God’s people is that he is always working to convict hearts of people. Below you will find many scriptures on the Holy Spirit. The Spirit is always teaching us and guiding us in our daily Christian life. Please take the time to read them and study God’s Word and may God bless you always.

(John 3:5) Jesus said “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.”

(John 16:8-9) “And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment; of sin, because they believe not on me.”

(John 6:44) “No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him; and I will raise him up at the last day.”

(John 16:13) Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth; for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak; and he will show you things to come.”

(John 14:18) I will not leave you comfortless, I will come to you.

(Acts 1:8) But ye shall receive power, after the Holly Spirit, is come upon you, and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Sarmaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

(Titus 3:5) “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost.”

(Acts 5:32) “And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.”

(Acts 1:8) “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you; and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”

(Acts 8:26-29) “And the Angel of the Lord spoke unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south, unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert. Then the Spirit said unto Philip, near and joins thyself to this chariot.”

(Acts 4:8-13) “Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel. Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marveled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.”

(Luke 11:13) “If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him.”

(Mark 11:24) “Therefore I SAY UNTO YOU, What things so ever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.”

(Mark 14:38) “Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The Spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak.”

(Mark 1:10) And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the Heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him.

(Romans 8:14) For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

(Romans 8:16) The Spirit himself bearth witness with our Spirit, that we are the children of God.

(Romans 8:26) Likewise, the Spirit also helpth our infirmity; for we know not what we should pray for as we ought; but the Spirit himself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

(Romans 8:27) And he that searchth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

(Romans 8:6) For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

(Ephesians 4:30) And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, by whom ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

(Ephesians 5:18) And be not drunk with wine, in which is excess, but be filled with the Spirit.

(Ephesians 6:18) Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.

(I Thessalonians 5:19) Quench not the Spirit.

(II Timothy 4:22) The Lord Jesus Christ be with thy Spirit. Grace be with you.

(I John 3:24) And he that keepth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And by this we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit whom he hath given us.

(I John 4:13) By this know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.

(I John 5:6) This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.

(I John 5:7) For there are three that bear record in Heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.

(Revelation 2:7) He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; to him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
