What is The Unpardonable Sin?

The scriptures tells about the Unpardonable Sin the books of (Matthew 12:31-32) and (Mark 3:28-29), The Unpardonable Sin is ascribing to Satan the works of the Holy Spirit which is blaspheming against the Holy Spirit. This sin of blaspheming against the Holy Spirit is called an unpardonable sin in these passages. In Matthew chapter 12, we can read about Jesus and the Pharisees and some of these religious leaders that were plotting to destroy Jesus because of the miracles He had done on the Sabbath. The Pharisees insisted that Jesus had healed by the power of Beelzebub, the ruler of the demons. Jesus said to them, “He who is not with Me is against Me, and He who does not gather with Me scatters abroad.” (Matthew 12:30) Then Jesus said, “Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men; but blasphemy against the Holy Spirit shall not be forgiven unto men. And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him; but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come,”

Anyone who is concerned about their rejection of Christ has not committed this unpardonable sin and can still come to Christ at anytime. Remember, as long as there are desires in your heart to do good you have not sinned away your day of Grace; for these desires are the result of the Holy Spirit doing his work to bring you to God. If you have any concern about having committed the unpardonable sin, this could be just that old devil trying to deceive you again. Just remember, the sin of UNBELIEF is the one sin that can send you to Hell for all eternity. There is no pardon for a person who dies in an unbelief condition. If you are unsaved, you can place your faith in Jesus Christ by praying a simple prayer. Then just trust in Christ alone for the payment of your sins, all you have to do is acknowledge your sins to Jesus and accept Jesus Christ by faith as your Savior . Then He will forgive you and give you the gift of eternal life forever in Heaven with Him for all eternity.
