Book of Revelation – Bible Study – Chapter 11

The Book of Revelation Chapter 11”

Introduction: We are on a journey for God because life here on earth as we know it is about to come to an end. We as born again Christians must use the time that is left for us to tell the Gospel to everyone that does not know our Lord Jesus as their Savior. Please don’t put your trust in Satan and wait for that terrible, Tribulation Period because it could be too late for you to saved, at that time. In this bible study of Chapter Eleven it includes the measuring of the Temple, and the ministry of the Two Witnesses, and the bounding of the Seventh Trumpet.

I) (The Measuring of the Temple) (Revelation 11:1-2)

1) (Read) (Chapter 11:1); “And there was given me a reed, like unto a rod: and the Angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. (KJV)

1)   Explanation: (Chapter 11:1); “And there was given me a reed, like unto a rod and the Angel (Jesus Christ) stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. Now this refers to the literal Temple which will be rebuilt in Jerusalem, in fact, plans are being made at this moment for the rebuilding of this structure. Also the Prophet Daniel prophesied of this event some 500 years before Jesus Christ. (Daniel 9:27)

1)   Comments:   In verse one, and like unto a rod, this was an instrument used in taking measurement, and was ten feet long. (Compare and read with); (Ezekiel 40:3-5); (Ezekiel 42:15-20); (Zechariah 2:1-2); and (Revelation 21:15). The instructions of measuring the temple, demands a literal temple. This is a future temple that will be rebuilt by the Jews. And there was given me a reed to measure the temple of God. This must refer to the temple of Jerusalem; and this is another presumptive; evidence that it was still standing.

II) Now that there are five literal temples mentioned in the Bible and they are mentioned below. (This is a Little Bit of History below on Temples)

1) Solomon’s Temple – (I Kings, Chapter 7). This Temple was destroyed by King Nebuchadnezzar (II Kings 25:8-9), (II Kings 25:13-17).

2) Zerubbabel’s Temple – The return of the Jews from Babylonian exile, made it possible for the rebuilding of the second temple in (Ezra 11:6-18). In 63 B.C., the Roman general Pompey captured Jerusalem and took the temple. Nine years later the Roman consul Crassus took all of its gold. This temple was rebuilt by Herod to become the third temple.

3) Herod’s Temple – Herod began his work on the third temple in 18 B.C. The house itself was finished in a year and a half; eight years were spent on the surrounding buildings and courts, which were not finally completed until 64 A.D. The Jews told Jesus that the temple had been 46 years in the building in (John 2:20). This temple was destroyed by Titus in 70 A. D.

4) Tribulation Temple – There must be a temple for the Jews to worship during the Tribulation according to (Daniel 9:26-27); (Matthew 24:15); and (II Thessalonians 2:4). This is the temple that John is told to measure in (Revelation 11:1-2). This temple will be destroyed too.

5) Millennial Temple – After Jesus comes again to establish his Kingdom, there will be another Temple built. Compare with (Ezekiel 40-48); and (Acts 15:16).

2) (Read) (Chapter 11:2); But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months. (KJV)

2) Explanation: (Chapter 11:2); But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles. (Now this refers to the Court of the Gentiles, which was the furthest Court from the Temple; and this “measurement” is for Judgment; and the holy city (Jerusalem) shall they tread under foot forty and two months. Now this refers to the period that will end the “times of the Gentiles”. (Luke 21:24);  Now at the midpoint of the Great Tribulation, the Antichrist will turn on Israel, and actually attacking Israel and Israel will be temporarily defeated. The Antichrist will occupy the Temple, making it his religious headquarters. (II Thessalonians 2:4); Now the Antichrist will occupy the Temple for three and one half years.

2) Comments: In verse two, the court which is without. Now the Temple of Herod’s had four courts. 1) The court of the Priests; 2) The court of Israel; 3) The court of the women; and 4) the court which is without is the court of the Gentiles. The Tabernacle had but one court; while Solomon’s Temple had two; the court of the Priests, and the court of the Gentiles. And the court of this new temple, as well as the Holy City (Jerusalem), is to be trodden under foot of the Gentiles for 42 months, (Revelation 11:3); (Revelation 12:6); (Revelation 12:14); (Daniel 7:27); (Daniel 12:7).

This period must refer to the last half of the Tribulation Period, and this is when the (Anti-Christ) breaks his covenant with the Jews, (Daniel 9:27); (II Thessalonians 2:4) .

Until the Time of the Gentiles be fulfilled (Luke 21:24). (Revelation 11:3-12); (Here we talk about the witnesses)

III) (The Two Witnesses are slain and Raised from the Dead)

3) (Read) (Chapter 11:3); and I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.  (KJV)

3) Explanation: (Chapter 11:3); And I will give power unto my two witnesses.

A) Now some Bible Scholars believe that these two witnesses are “Enoch and Elijah” because these two men are the only two that has not died yet. Now they were actually translated before they saw death. (Genesis 5:21-24); and (Malachi 4:5-6):

B) Now some Bible Scholars believe that these two witnesses are “Moses and Elijah” because these two men are the only two men seen at Jesus Christ transfiguration. (Luke 9:30); (Mark 9:4); (Matthew 17:3); and (Malachi 4:4). And they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. Now this refers to three and one half years, and this is the last half of the Great Tribulation. Now the clothing and the sackcloth suggest that these two witnesses will be “Preaching to the people a message of Repentance.”  (Isaiah 37:1-2); and (Daniel 9:3-5)

3) Comments: In verse three, the Two Witnesses; these are two men and they are prophesying for 1260 days, clothed in sackcloth and preaching (Repentance). (Isaiah 22:12); (Jeremiah 4:8); (Jonah 3:5); (Matthew 3:4); (Luke 10:13); (Please read these scriptures) Now I believe that these two witnesses are Moses and Elijah because they will be performing similar miracles just like they did in the Old Testament. (Moses in (Exodus 7:14-20); and (Exodus 8:12); and (Elijah in (I Kings 17:14-1); and (II Kings 1:10-12). In the book of Jonah chapter three, there was one of the Greatest Revival of history at this time. God spared that city of Nineveh because of their repentance of their sins. This is what all Christians should be doing. (We are commanded to go tell the Gospel to the entire world while there is time). (Matthew 28:19-20)

4) (Read) (Chapter 11:4); these are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. (KJV)

4) Explanation: (Chapter 11:4); These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. (Now these two olive trees and these two candlesticks are both represent as the two witnesses, and this refers to the vision that was given by the Lord to the Prophet Zechariah. (Read) (Zechariah chapter 4)

4) Comments: In verse four, these are the two olive trees. Now they are the two anointed ones that stand by the Lord of the whole earth in (Zechariah 4:11-14). (Someone please read) (Zechariah 4:11-14). These are the two olive trees that are mentioned in (Zechariah 4:14); and there they represent Zerubbabel and Joshua the high priest. The whole account seems to be taken from (Zechariah 4:1-14). Whether the prophet and the apostle mean the same things by these emblems, we do not know.

5) (Read) (Chapter 11:5); and if any men will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoured their enemies:  and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. (KJV)

5) Explanation: (Chapter 11:5); and if any men will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoured their enemies. This pertains to Judgment and not literal fire. Now when our Lord Jesus Christ comes again in (Revelation 19:21), the Bible speaks of Him with a sword proceeded out of His mouth, but He just speaks the Word and it is done. And if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. (Now this proclaims the protection of our Lord Jesus Christ, and in whatever manner it is needed. Now there is no doubt that the Antichrist will seek to kill them in many ways. But I say this will not happen until their work is finished, and God permits it.

5) Comments: In verse five, the fire proceedeth out of their mouth; and through their miracles, we can begin to identify these two witnesses. Elijah, in the Old Testament was the prophet called fire down from heaven; (II Kings 1:1O-14); (I Kings 18:36-39). Now remember it was fire that proceedeth out of their mouth. That is, they are commissioned to denounce the judgments of God against all who would attempt to prevent them from proceeding in their ministry.

6) (Read) (Chapter 11:6); These have power to shut heaven, that. It rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over “waters to turn them to blood”, and to smite the earth with all plagues as often as they will. (KJV)

6) Explanation: (Chapter 11:6); These prophets have power to shut heaven, that and it rain not in the days of their prophecy. (Now this doesn’t mean that there will be no rain for three and one half years, but that they can shut up Heaven as often as they so desire. Now there is no doubt that there will be mouths without rain during this time. And they have power over waters to turn them to blood. (Now as to this time, this miracle will be ascribed to and is anyone’s guess but God gave Moses the power to turn the water into blood in (Exodus 4:9). And to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will. (Now this refers to sicknesses and diseases of every nature, and along with plagues of insects, such as flies and frogs and many more.

6) Comments: In verse six, They have Power to shut up heaven that it rain not in the days of their prophecy Elijah, shut up heaven that it did not rain for 3 years 6 months in (I Kings 17:1); (Luke 4:25); (James 5:17). (Please read these scriptures). Now they power over waters to turn them to blood. This miracle identifies the second witness as Moses. We know Moses turned the water into blood and smote the earth with plagues in (Exodus 7:19-21); (Exodus 8:1); (Exodus 10:29). The last two prophets mentioned in the Old Testament were Moses and Elijah. (Malachi 4:4-5); God had promised that Elijah would return before the “coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord;” (Malachi 4:5-6). Also it was Moses and Elijah on the Mount of Transfiguration with Jesus. (Matthew 17:3)

7) (Read) (Chapter 11:7); and when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascended out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them. And shall overcome them, and kill them. (KJV)

7) Explanation: (Chapter 11:7); And when they shall have finished their testimony, this will be at the conclusion of the three and one half years of the Great Tribulation. Now this will be the same period of time of Jesus Christ’s earthly ministry). The beast that ascended out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them. And shall overcome them, and kill them. Now the Beast out of the Abyss is a Satanic Angel, not the human spirit of some dead man. Now it is the one described by the Apostle John in (Revelation 17:8). Now He is a fallen Angel who will be invisible, but will greatly help the Antichrist. Now with the help of this fallen Angel, the Antichrist will kill the two witnesses, but this will not happen until their Ministry is completed.

7) Comments: In verse seven, the beast came up out of the bottomless pit and killed the two prophets. This beast is the Anti-Christ. Compare with (Revelation 13:1-10); (Revelation 17:3-18); (Revelation 19:19-20); (Please read these verses). The Two witnesses are killed and raised again. They are protected (Revelation 11:5) by God until the end of their prophecy of 1260 days (Revelation 1l:3). God has a hedge built around his children, and if this hedge is removed, Satan will kill them (Job 1:10-11).

Now the beast that ascended out of the bottomless pit this may be what is called antichrist. And there is some power that is opposed to genuine Christianity. But what or whence, except from the bottomless pit, is under the influence and the appointment of the devil; we cannot tell; nor do we know by what name of this power or being should be called. The conjectures concerning these two witnesses and the beast have been sufficiently multiplied. If the whole passage, as some think, refer to the persecution raised by the Jews against the Christians, then some Jewish power or person is the beast from the bottomless pit. If it refers to the early ages of Christianity, then the beast may be one of the persecuting heathen emperors. If it refers to a later age of Christianity, then the beast may be the papal power, and the “Albigenses” and “Waldenses”; the two witnesses, which were nearly extinguished by the horrible persecutions raised up against them by the Church of Rome. Whatever may be here intended, the earth has not yet covered in their blood.

8) (Read) (Chapter 11:8); and their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where our Lord was crucified. (KJV)

8) Explanation: (Chapter 11:8); and their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where our Lord was crucified. (Now the dead bodies of the two witnesses are in the streets of that great city of Jerusalem. Now it is obvious that Satan will turn this city into the capital of homosexuality “Sodom” and the wordiness of “Egypt”.

8) Comments: In verse eight, These Two Witnesses are left in the streets so they can mock them and celebrate over them. Why, because they had cursed them with fire, turned their water into blood, and brought plagues upon the earth. This great city; some say Rome, which may be spiritually called Sodom for its abominations. And Egypt; for its tyrannous cruelty, and the place where our Lord was crucified because; of its persecution of the members of Christ. But Jerusalem itself may be intended. Now all these things I must leave to others.

9) (Read) (Chapter 11:9); And they of the people and kindred’s and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves, (KJV)

9) Explanation: (Chapter 11:9); And they of the people and kindred’s and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half. (Now there is no doubt, that everyone will see by Television, which will be beamed all over the world).

And shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves, but they will not be put into graves because God proclaims that this spectacle will last only three and one half days.

9) Comments: In verse nine, you, may ask the question, what will make this verse nine in chapter eleven so significant. Now it will indicate the use of technology that has only recently become available in the twentieth century by the use of global television news coverage and the use of the internet will make this possible. It is also interesting to note that this prophecy of (Revelation 11:9) could not have been fulfilled until the middle sixties. Here in the following article of (Reader’s Digest Almanac of the 1966 edition) and it will explain why. (The first link in a worldwide, live television system was taken on May 2, 1965, when the Early Bird Satellite, was hovering some 22,300 miles up in space between the Country of Brazil and Africa). This united millions of Americans and European viewers in an international television exchange of this Reader’s Digest Almanac.

10) Read(Chapter 11:10); and they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another: because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth. (KJV)

10) Explanation: (Chapter 11:10); and they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send Gifts, one to another. Now they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them and they will proclaim a world-wide celebration because the two witnesses who have caused so many problems for the Antichrist are now killed and lying in the streets dead. Because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth. Now this proclaims that which true Prophets have a tendency to do.

10) Comments: In verse ten, the unbelievers of the earth, having submitted to the authority of the Beast, they will rejoice, because they hated the plagues and the message of the two prophets which was repentance of their sins. The Holy City, Jerusalem is now called Sodom and Egypt, because of their sins. (I Kings 18:17-18), (John 16:20-22) ; Now here in this verse ten of chapter eleven the hatred toward these two witnesses and hatred of our God, (Jehovah) that they represent caused an eruption into a global celebration over the death of these two witnesses of God who had warned the people of the world to repent.

IV) (The Two Witnesses are resurrected)

11) (Read) (Chapter 11:11); And after three days and a half the spirit of life from God entered into them, And they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. (KJV)

11) Explanation: (Chapter 11:11); Now after three days and a half the spirit of life from God entered into them and this refers to these two men being raised from the dead. Now this will, no doubt be televised all over the world as well. And they stood upon their feet. (Now after three days and a half the spirit of life from God entered into them and great fear fell upon them which saw them. Now there was a great fear that fell upon them because of what they saw a miracle was performed by our God.

11) Comments: In verse eleven, the two witnesses are brought back to life, and then taken up into Heaven. Now their enemies reacted in fear, since their resurrection is incontrovertible proof that their message was true and that Jesus is the only one true God and the Messiah.

 12) (Read) (Chapter 11:12); and they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, come up hither: and they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them,” (KJV)

12) Explanation: (Chapter 11:12); And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, come up hither. Now they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, “Come up hither”. Now these two witnesses will be “Raptured” at the very conclusion of the Great Tribulation. Now they will be among the last of those included in the First Resurrection of Life. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud. And their enemies beheld them. (Now as stated before, Satellite Television will portray this miraculous scene, with it being observed all over the world).

12) Comments: In verse twelve, the Spirit of God will enter into these two witnesses and they are resurrected, and also they will ascend up to Heaven in a cloud just like our Lord Jesus Christ did. Here God is showing His supremacy over everything that Satan or the Antichrist can do. God said to these two witnesses “Come up here” and they experienced a personal rapture in this verse twelve of the book of Revelation.

13) (Read) (Chapter 11:13); and the same hour’ was, there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven. (KJV)

13) Explanation:  (Chapter 11:13); And the same hour’ was, there a great earthquake. Now this is one of five times that earthquakes are mentioned. Now this is the last one that will take place and it happens under the “Seventh Vial”, which is at the very conclusion of the Great Tribulation. And the tenth part of the city fell, (Now this refers to the city of Jerusalem.) And in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand. And the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven. Now there is some indication in the Greek Text that some of these people gave their hearts to our Lord Jesus Christ.  (God is merciful to some of them).

13) Comments: In verse thirteen, this act of God’s judgment will cause a great “fear” to fall upon the people so that a great many lost people will glorify God. This implies that there will be thousands of Jews that rejoiced at the killing of the two witnesses will turn to Christ in faith at this time. Also this is just prior to the Antichrist‘s desecration of the temple.

14) (Read) (Chapter 11:14); the second woe is past; and beholds: The third woe cometh quickly. (KJV)

14) Explanation: (Chapter 11:14); The second woe is past and this woe took place under the Sixth Trumpet Judgment. (Revelation 9:12-21)  The third woe cometh quickly. Now it is not the earthquake of verse thirteen, but rather the casting out of Satan under the Seventh Trumpet. (Revelation 12:12)

14) Comments: In verse fourteen, John tells us that the second woe is now pasted, and the third woe is coming quickly. Now the Second Woe is a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city (Jerusalem) fell, and 7,000 men were slain. Now the second woe includes the sixth trumpet in (Revelation 9:12-21) and a second interlude in (Revelation 10:11-13). The third woe is apparently the seventh trumpet in (Revelation 11:15-19). The final woe may extend further since the word “Woe” recurs in (Revelation 12:12).

V) (The Seventh Trumpet: The Kingdom Proclaimed)

15) (Read) (Chapter 11:15); And the seventh Angel sounded.  And there were great voices in heaven, saying. The kingdoms of this world, become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ. And he shall reign forever and ever. (KJV)

15) Explanation: (Chapter 11:15); And the seventh Angel sounded; and this marks the beginning of the last three and one half years of the Great Tribulation. And there were great voices in heaven, saying. (The kingdoms of this world, become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign forever and ever).

(Now this is said in anticipation, and will definitely come to pass at the conclusion of this three and one half year period at the Second Coning of our Lord Jesus Christ).

15) Comments: In verse fifteen, The Kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and Jesus Christ. The sounding of the seventh trumpet includes all that happens down to chapter (Revelation 20:3). The time limit of the seventh trumpet is given in (Revelation 10:7). The kingdoms of this world becomes Christ’s when he destroys the beast. (Revelation 19:11); (Revelation 20:6); and sits up his Kingdom forever; (Read) (Isaiah 9:7); (Daniel 7:14-27); (Luke 1:33)

16) (Read) (Chapter 11:16); And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, (KJV)

16) Explanation: (Chapter 11:16); And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, (Thrones) fell upon their faces, and worshipped God. Now these Elders are human beings, they are possibly some of the Prophets and the Apostles of the Bible, and they represent the entirety of the “Plan of God” as it refers to “Redemption”).

16) Comments: In verse sixteen, The twenty-four elders that sat before God on their thrones are the twelve tribes of Israel in the Old Testament and the twelve Apostles in the New Testament. Now the twenty-four elders here probably represent all the redeemed of God for all time, (that is before and after Christ’s death and resurrection). They also symbolize both the Jews and the Gentiles who are now part of God’s family. The twenty-four elders fall down on their faces and worship our God (Jehovah) in verse sixteen of this book of Revelation.

17) (Read) (Chapter 11:17); Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come;  because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned. (KJV)

17) Explanation: (Chapter 11:17); Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come. (Now this pronounces Him as “the Eternal One”); and because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned. (Now this once again speaks of anticipation, and in other words what the Lord Jesus Christ is going to do, and which He most definitely will do).

17) Comments: In verse seventeen, the Apostle John tells us that the twenty-four elders give thanks to God the Almighty for he is the one and the one who was and the one who is to come.

The twenty-four in (Revelation 4:10-11), and (Revelation 5:8-10) give praise for God’s power and his wrath and his distribution of reward and judgment. This Heavenly thanksgiving seems to reflect on the fulfillment of the great messianic prophecy in (Psalms chapter 2). (Please read Psalms 2).

18) (Read) (Chapter 11:18); And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.  (KJV)

18) Explanation: (Chapter 11:18); And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come. Now this has to do with the coming battle of Armageddon in (Psalms chapter two). And the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou should give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great. (Now this refers to the coming “Judgment Seat of Christ,” this is not the Great White Throne Judgment); and should destroy them which destroy the earth. (Now once again this speaks of the “Battle of Armageddon”, in which Jesus Christ will engage at the Second Coming. (Revelation chapter 19)

18) Comments: In verse eighteen, the Bible which is God Holy Word and states that our God (Jehovah) will give rewards to His people according to what they deserve. But throughout the Old Testament out obedience often brought a reward in this life (Deuteronomy 28:1-14), but obedience and immediate reward are not always linked together. Now if they were, good people would always be rich, and suffering would always be a sign of sin. If we were quickly rewarded for every faithful deed then we would soon think we were pretty good. Before long we all would be doing many good deeds for purely selfish reasons. While it is true that God will reward us for our earthly deeds. But remember that our greatest reward will be eternal life in our Lord Jesus Christ presence.

19) (Read) (Chapter 11:19); and the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail. (KJV)

19) Explanation:  (Chapter 11:19); And the temple of God was opened in heaven. (Now in some way it might be similar to Solomon’s Temple, for which the Heavenly Temple was the patter). And there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament.

(Now this refers to the Ark of the Covenant, which again is served as the patter for the Ark of the Covenant in the Tabernacle and Temple on Earth during the time of the Law). There were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail. (Now this presents that which is symbolic of the awful Presence of God and His Majesty and Glory).

19) Comments: In verse nineteen, John tells us that the temple of God was opened in Heaven and the Ark of His covenant was seen here in His temple. There was voices lightnings, and thunderings, an earthquake, and there was also great hail too. Now this Ark of His Covenant is a reference to the Heavenly Ark of the Covenant that was patterned after the earthly Ark of the Covenant in the Old Testament. Now in the Old Testament days the Ark of the Covenant was the most sacred treasure of the Israelite nation. (Exodus 37:1-5)

A)The main reason or purpose of teaching this Book of Revelation in this simple lay-out form is to tell the Gospel and warn all people of their destination of their souls and hopefully help all people hear the Good News of Jesus whether they are saved or lost.

B) By studding God’s Holy Word we can have a better picture of Heaven and Hell. Also it is my prayer and hope that everyone can understand a little more about their new home in Heaven and of what God’s future plan that He has in store for them for all eternity.

C) The purpose of this Bible Study is to simplify the Book of Revelation so that the believers in our Lord Jesus Christ can understand what God’s future plans are for all mankind.

D) Now some people just shake their heads and are scared to what the future holds for them. They say that they cannot read this book and understand anything that the Scriptures are saying to them. So I have tried to outline each of the verses with the help of the Holy Spirit so that anyone; whether you are a believer in Jesus Christ (Saved) or an unbeliever (lost) and don’t know who our Savior Jesus Christ is. It is my prayer and hopes that when you try to read and study the Book of Revelation that everyone will always keep an open-mind. Now remember that God loves you and this Book of Revelation is about your future and where everyone will spend the rest of their life.

E) Now as a Christian I am concerned about your soul and where you will spend all eternity at. So just remember that we all have two choices in this life and the first one is that you should realize that you are a sinner and on your way to a place called Hell because of your unbelief in Jesus and His finish Works on the Cross.

F) The second choice is that then you call upon the name of Jesus Christ and ask Him to come into your life and save you. Then you are on your way to a place called Heaven because of what Jesus done for all mankind on the Cross. He paid the price by shedding His Precious Blood and dying there so that all mankind could go free.

G) Now all you have to do is just sincerely pray a simple prayer like this one here. “Please God, I confess to you my sins and need Jesus in my life right now. I will turn away from my sins and place my Faith in your Son Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Amen.”

H) What must I do to be saved? (Romans 10:9-11) That if thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shall be saved. For with the heart man beliveth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

I) Now this concludes our Bible Study on the chapter eleven of the Book of Revelation. Next week we will continue our lesson studies in the chapter twelve of the Book of Revelation. Please be much in prayer for me as I try to teach this last book of the Bible.

Note: In closing, my prayer for you is that this bible study of the Scriptures will help you understand God’s Word a little better. Please feel free to pass this bible study on to others. May God always bless you is my prayer.

Your, Brother in Christ
