The book of Galatians is the ninth book of the New Testament. This epistle to the Galatians was addressed to a group of churches in Galatia, which was located in the center of what is now known as Asia Minor. The Galatians churches were facing a double threat, involving purity of doctrine and purity of conduct. Certain individuals insisted that, while Salvation was of Christ, works were also necessary for Salvation and this was not so because the believer is saved by the Grace of God through Faith and not of works. This Epistle can be divided into six parts: 1) The occasion of the Epistle; the Galatians departure from the True Gospel. 2) Paul’s defense of his apostolic ministry. 3) Justification is wholly by Faith, apart from the law. 4) The rule of the Believer’s Life is Gracious, not legal. 5) The characteristics displayed in the life of a Christian justified by Faith Alone. 6) The outworking of the new life in Christ Jesus. The author of this book is Paul. Listed below are questions on the book of Galatians. These questions can be used freely for Sunday school or bible study to help all young Christians study the scriptures. My prayers are with you always and may God bless you in your studies.
