The book of Second Peter is the twenty-second book of the New Testament. The epistle of Second Peter and Second Timothy has much in common. In both Epistles the writers are awaiting martyrdom; both Epistles are joyful in tone, and both foresee the departure from faith that will culminate during the last days. This Epistle can be divided into five parts: 1) The great Christian virtues. 2) The transfiguration recalled. 3) The prophetic scriptures exalted. 4) The warnings concerning false teachers. 5) The second coming of Christ and the day of the Lord. The author of this book is Peter. Listed below are questions on the book of Second Peter. These questions can be used freely for Sunday school or bible study to help all young Christians study the scriptures. My prayers are with you always and may God bless you in your studies.
