Nahum is the thirtieth-fourth book of the Old Testament. Nahum name means comfort (of God) and is related to the name Nehemiah, very little is known about him. The book of Nahum forms the sequel to the book of Jonah. This book of Nahum can be divided into four parts: 1) The character of God, 2) God’s punishment of his enemies, 3) The destruction of Nineveh detailed, 4) The cause of the destruction.
