Zechariah is the thirtieth-eighth book of the Old Testament. Zechariah, whose name means, the Lord remembers, was a prophet of the restoration from Babylon. His messages cover events beginning with the rebuilding of the Temple and concluding with the millennium. This book can be divided into four parts: 1) The call to repentance, 2) A series of eight visions to comfort Jerusalem, 3) The delegation from Bethel concerning fasting, 4) The prophecies concerning the End of Israel’s Age and the return and reign of Christ.
