Questions You Always Wanted To Know And Ask About In The Bible
There are many people who do not want to obey God or trust his eternal plan for salvation. God has sent his only son to die for all of us on the cross because the scriptures tell us this. You cannot trust your ways for Salvation, but you must place your complete trust and faith in Jesus. We must give Jesus complete control of our life after we are saved and then we must read God’s Word and put it in our heart and then we will grow in his grace and knowledge of the word. Jesus has instructed us to go and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Jesus said to teach them to observe all things that I have commanded you, and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. What a loving savior we have in Jesus. It has always been my desire to serve him and to help build up God’s Kingdom and praise his holy name. Believe in the Lord Jesus is the only way to be saved
There are some people that don’t believe that, when God saves a person, he or she must only endure unto the end without any sin in their life. This is not true, because we are not perfect, only Jesus is the perfect sacrifice for our sins. This is why our Lord and Savior Jesus died and shed his blood on the cross for all mankind. I will say this, just because you are saved, does not give anyone the right to just keep on sinning and living like the Devil himself. If you are a Christian and you keep on living a sinful life, you will have a bad testimony before others and bring dishonor to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In the book of Psalms, God tells us that as far as the East is from the West, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. When the Philippian jailer asked Paul and Silas what he must do to be saved, they did not tell him to just begin believing and maintain a believing attitude. Baptism Is Commanded By God and Practiced By Others
The bible plainly teaches that every believer should confess Christ in baptism. Let us not neglect baptism; neither thinks just because we have been baptized that we are saved. You have to confess your sins and trust in Jesus Christ alone for your salvation, and then you can be baptized. Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist, in the river of Jordan and John also baptized many others too. There is so much we could say about baptism, such as the conversion of Saul in the book of Acts, chapter 9. Here Saul was blinded on the road near Damascus, and the Lord told him to go and see a certain disciple by the name of Ananias. When Saul was there 3 days he received his eyesight back and was filled with the Holy Spirit and immediately he arose, and was baptized and went to preach the gospel. How You May Know You Are Saved
You may know you are saved because God says so in his word. If you ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins and ask him to come into your heart. By confessing to Jesus, as your Savior and then you will have the witness of the Holy Spirit in your heart. When you do this you have God’s word that you have eternal life and your name will be written in the book of life. God’s Love for His People
When you open your bible never forget that God loves you. There are two love chapters in the New Testament and they are first Corinthians chapter 13 and first John chapter 4. Jesus said I give you a new commandment that you love one another as I have loved you, that you also love another. One of the most quoted verse in the bible is (John 3:16) and this is about Jesus’ love for the whole world. This verse has been translated into more than 1100 languages. This Bible verse tells of the one and only Savior, who loved us with an everlasting love and His name is Jesus.
