Salvation Scriptures

When we read the scriptures, God tells us that He has done his part in giving his Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for our sins. Then we must do our part by calling upon him and accepting Jesus as our personal Savior, and also we must confess our sins to him and he will save us. The scripture says that whosoever will call upon the name of the Lord Jesus will be saved. There is so much that I could say about the word salvation, but all the scriptures listed below can say it better than me because it is God’s word.

(Matthew 11:28-30) “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and ye shall find rest upon your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

(Ecclesiastes 12:1) Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth.

(Proverbs 8:17) Love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.

(Matthew 18:3) Verily I say unto you, except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

(II Timothy 3:15) And that from a child, thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

(Luke 2:42) And when he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast.

(Matthew 6:33) But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.

(II Corinthians 6:2) (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)
