Born in Ur of, Chaldees, near the river Euphrates. He was the son of Terah and was married to Sarah. (Genesis 11:27-29)
Abraham was divinely called to leave his native land. He would be the father of a great nation and the ancestor of the Messiah. (Genesis 12:2-6)
Abraham left Haran at the age of 75 years old and he took with him his nephew by the name of Lot. (Genesis 12:5)
Abraham came to Shechem in the land of Canaan. There he pitched his tent near Bethel, and he built an altar to the Lord. (Genesis 12:8)
A famine was in the land and this drove him to Egypt. Sarah was taken into Pharaoh’s house supposed to be the sister of Abraham. Plagues were sent upon Pharaoh. (Genesis 12:14-17)
Abraham was sent out of the country of Egypt. He left Egypt as a rich man and came to Bethel with his nephew Lot. (Genesis 13:1-5)
The Lord gives to Abraham and his seed the whole land and Lot was given his choice of the land and he selected the Jordan valley. (Genesis 13:6-18)
The battle of the kings, Lot was taken as a prisoner. Abraham defeats them, rescues Lot, and restores him and his property to Sodom. (Genesis 14)
Abraham meets Melchizedek, the king of Salem, and Abraham is blessed by him. (Genesis 14:17-20)
The Lord renews his promise to Abraham, and foretells the sojourn of his seed in Egypt. (Genesis 15)
The covenant made with Abraham and the seal of the covenant indicated. Abraham is 90 years old and his name is changed from Abram to Abraham. (Genesis 17:1-14)

The death of Sarah. Abraham purchases Machpelah and there he buried his beloved wife Sarah. (Genesis 23:1-20)
Abraham marries Keturah who bore him six children. Abraham dies at the age of 175 years old and is buried by Isaac and Ishmael ,beside his wife Sarah in the cave of Machpelah. (Genesis 25:1-10)
